another weekend in the emerald city.

An entire year is way too long to stay away from Seattle. So Chad and I made a trip last weekend to visit our lovely friends in Anacortes, a small fishing town an hour north of the city.  With their house sitting right on Puget Sound, it's difficult to stop looking out the window let alone leave to grab a beer at the local pub. From streets lined with quaint shops filled with local art to the still harbor filled with fishing boats carrying fresh crab and oysters, it's impossible to miss its charm. And all of this is surrounded by snow-capped mountains as far as the eye can see. It's almost enough to make you want to [accidentally-on-purpose] miss your plane home.
